Timons Tranquil Getaway at The Villages

We were the first guests to stay at this property for the month of February (2026). The house was very nicely furnished and the king bed in the primary bedroom was very comfortable. Although there weren't dressers in either bedroom, we used the nightstand drawers and closet shelving for our folded clothing. Both bathroom vanities lack drawers so toiletry storage is an issue. The kitchen has "the basics" but might be a bit lacking for more creative cooks. A few items were missing upon our arrival (toaster, wash clothes) and when notified, A&J Home Concierge had the items ordered and delivered the next day. I also provided them with a list of "missing" items which they seemed very receptive to adding to the home (a night stand and lamp in the guest bedroom, a vacuum, and additional kitchen equipment). A&J Home Concierge provided excellent communication, before, during, and after our stay and I would gladly work with them again in the future if we decide to rent in The Villages. The house was very clean and right-sized for just two people. One thing we didn't like was the close proximity to the adjacent homes. Be aware that the side and rear windows, plus the lanai, line up perfectly to the neighboring houses - so no privacy! This patio villa neighborhood had the feel of an upscale trailer park and many of the properties seemed to be rentals. The location, situated halfway between Eastport and Middleton, with access to at least 4 golf courses, 4 neighborhood pools, the Saluki rec building and all the entertainment and sports options at Olympia (Eastport), all within a quick golf cart ride (under 1 mile), made this an ideal spot in the "new" area of The Villages.
